Your mission: create the Central Purchasing Office (CPO) from scratch in order to develop the strategy and operational workstreams. To lead purchasing and supply management activities for multiple areas of spend with the goal of achieving cost reductions, supplanted with year-over-year productivity improvements in the total cost of goods and services procured while maintaining or improving product quality and vendor service levels.
What will the role entail?
-Champion and secure TCO reductions for Category Group of spend areas.
-Oversee the development/execution of strategies through the strategic sourcing process for each specific Category Group of spend areas.
-Oversee the process to select and manage suppliers.
-Measure and track internal performance within each spending category.
-Monitor strategy implementation.
-Drive annual productivity improvements in each spending category.
-Oversee the development and execution of strategies for centrally managed categories.
-Set best practices policies and standards.
-Lead planning efforts.
-Follow-up the Cost Categories (Facility Management, Utilities, POS & Windows...)
Minimum experience of 3 – 5 years in a similar role
Education level required
-University degree in Business Administration or similar.
-Fluent in English
Technical skills required
-Microsoft Office (Excel y PowerPoint), ERP
-CPM (Certified PSM Manager) desirable
